4-year-old RED GROUP EDUCATOR
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Teaching and has worked at a variety of preschools over the past eight years. Lisa lives locally to our community and enjoys spending time with her husband and young family. Lisa has a passion for cooking and spending time outdoors with her 2 children. Lisa has completed her first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
CARLY McDONNELL
4-year-old BLUE GROUP EDUCATOR
Carly started as our four-year-old Red Group teacher in 2017, after spending several years in childcare (including being a room leader). Carly loves teaching kindergarten children because they are so eager to learn and are at their most crucial stage for lifelong learning. She holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Services and an Advanced Diploma in Children's Services. Carly loves being outdoors and is very sporty, playing and coaching netball for several clubs. More than anything, she enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to welcoming another member of the family in a few months time.
Mandy Baptiste
3-YEAR-OLD GROUP EDUCATOR
Mandy moved to Australia in 2011 from England. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and has been working with children for 10 years. She has a wide range of experiences from family day care to long day care and occasional care. Mandy is very passionate about her role as an educator and values each family’s needs. She enjoys seeing each child grow in their learning experiences and supporting them at each step. Mandy has three children of her own so enjoys spending time with them outside of work. Mandy has a passion for creating new ideas and exploring new places. Mandy has completed first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
Sharon Hewitt
4 year old Assistant (Red Group)
Sharon has been working with children for over 17 years, and has been working as part of the Burch Memorial team since 1999. She has two adult girls of her own and is a nan to two adorable little ones. Sharon loves spending time with her family and in her garden. Sharon has completed her first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
Marise Tate
4 year old Assistant (Blue Group)
2018 marks the beginning of Marise’s 19th happy year working as an Assistant at Burch Memorial Preschool. Marise previously worked as an Emergency Assistant through an agency and prior to that was a stay at home mum to her two, now grown-up, daughters. Together with her husband Richard, Marise enjoys a variety of interests. Reading with her feet up would be a favourite. Marise has completed her first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
Alison Wilson
4 year old CO-EDUCATOR (Red Group) and
3 YEAR OLD CO-EDUCATOR (green group)
Alison is a co-educator in our three and four year old programs and has worked at Burch Memorial Preschool since 2000. Alison holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education along with first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training. Alison lives in the local community and enjoys tennis, walking and reading.

2018 is Laura's first year as a permanent staff member at Burch Memorial Kinder. Laura holds her Diploma in Children's Services. She has many years of experience in the industry and across all areas - occasional care, long day care and Kindergartens. Laura has 2 of her own children who she adores and spends all of her spare time with. She is a local mum who enjoys gardening, walking and baking. Laura hold her first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training.

Natalie McKinnon
Administration support
Natalie is our administration support assistant and has been part of the Burch family since 2013. Nat started as a three-year-old educator, soon becoming the educational leader, before taking some time away on maternity leave. Nat has since returned in an administration capacity. Natalie has many years of teaching experience, along with a passion for gardening and growing food for her family. She holds a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood and we value her skills and experience in our kinder family.
