Tuesday 9am - 3pm (Contact time: 11am - 3pm)
Optional extra lunch relief Wednesday, 12.00pm – 1.30pm
Hours per week
6hrs per week (or 7.5hrs per week including lunch relief)

Burch Memorial Preschool seeks a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team, supporting one of our 3YO programs, from Term 1, 2024. The successful applicant be will work closely with our current 3yo teacher to implement the planned program for a group of up to 22 children who attend our government funded 3YO program. The role is supported by a diploma-qualified educator. The role will require:

- A commitment to continuous learning, critical reflection, best practice and achieving high quality service delivery.
- Sound working knowledge of the VEYLDF and the NQF.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive team environment, working as a member of a collaborative educational team.
- To ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
- To work positively and cooperatively with all staff, parents and school management.
- Availability for casual relief work across our programs will be highly regarded.
Qualifications
In addition to a warm, friendly attitude and commitment to continuous improvement, applicants must also meet the following criteria:
- Early Childhood Teacher qualification (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification)
- Level 2 First Aid as well as anaphylaxis and asthma certificates
- VIT Registration
