In 2023 the management of Burch Memorial Preschool transferred to Wonga Park Primary School. For many years the preschool and primary school have worked in close partnership to provide a high standard of education and support to the Wonga Park community and surrounds. With the formal transfer of management, our community relationships have been strengthened and management processes consolidated. An independent enrolment policy continues to operate for Burch Memorial Preschool and our teachers work closely with a range of local primary schools for the smooth transition of our children in the year following 4yo preschool.
School Council and staff work together to adhere to rules and regulations outlined the Education & Care Services National Regulations. The National Quality Framework underpins our operations and we adhere to the Child Safe Standards. Our programs are guided by The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
